Nikon has brought a new digital camera to replace the COOLPIX S6100, the Nikon COOLPIX S6200. This new camera has a 16 megapixel image sensor and 10x optical zoom lens with 25mm wide angle Nikkor ED glass. The camera is equipped with image processing engine, EXPEED C2 and ISO up to 3200 as well as lens-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) to handle wobble on the camera.

COOLPIX S6200 include Special Effects and Filter Effects so that users can create artistic works and provides 18 scene modes optimized and automatic scene selector. Nikon camera is also equipped with 2.7 inch LCD screen and offers HDMI output. And can record 720p HD movies, too.

Nikon Coolpix S6200 will come in a choice of red, white, blue, black, pink and silver. Plan of this camera will be available in mid-September 2011 at a price of $ 229.95 (can pre-order on Amazon).

Pentax Optio RZ18, Ultrazoom 18x Slim Compact Cameras & Sensors 16Mpx

Pentax announced the latest ultrazoom compact camera, the Pentax Optio RZ18. Compact camera with 18X optical zoom lens 25-450m F3.5-4.9 aperture to the minimum standard of design is relatively thin. A 16-megapixel sensor which includes a large makes it more stable plus a very wide range of ISO 80 to 6400 for the compact class.

This camera has a sensor-based shift image stabilization and a macro mode that can take focus as close as 1.6 inches.

Disadvantages of this Pentax camera is in video recording, which could only record 720p and lower resolution than Full HD 1080p capabilities of other cameras. Colours Black, orange, and white version can be selected from a plan Optio RZ18 marketed in October at a price of $ 300.
