Ricoh introduces new digital camera called the Ricoh GR DIGITAL IV, the successor to the GR DIGITAL III. This new model features enhanced Quick Shooting & improved image quality. The new model is equipped with a lens 28mm/F1.9 with GR ENGINE III, and the high sensitivity image sensor 10 Megapixel CCD type. This camera also has a hybrid AF system, which is used in parallel with conventional AF CCD contrast, the GR DIGITAL IV offers the AF focus only 0.2 seconds to take a quick picture.
Ricoh GR DIGITAL IV has the function of Image-sensor-shift Image Stabilization, which according to Ricoh, achieving a stabilization effect equivalent to increasing the maximum shutter speed of 3.2 stops. When combined with a fast lens F1.9 GR, improve the ability of the camera to capture the dark scenes. This camera supports ISO up to 3200, compensation dynamic range to minimize the effect of blown highlights in bright areas, Auto Bracket function, Composite Interval mode, Film Positive and Bleach Bypass, and the function of multiple exposure shooting.
The new Ricoh camera comes with a 3-inch VGA LCD, which adds in addition white pixel RGB color. In addition to the Black model, Ricoh will also release a limited edition of the GR DIGITAL Edition IV in White color. Only 10,000 units of the White model will be sold throughout the world.
